Providing exceptional nursing, residential, respite and convalescent care in the heart of Worthing for over 40 years.
Everyone deserves to live their later years in comfort and community. The twilight years are a time to look back on a life, well spent — while remaining active and engaged and enjoying time with family and friends.
The Beeches is a nursing home dedicated to its residents. For more than 40 years, we’ve cultivated an environment of energy, optimism, with the highest standard of care. We are leaders among care homes in Worthing and care homes in West Sussex.
Beyond our unparalleled nursing and residential care, we pride ourselves on providing healthy meals, personalised accommodations, a full itinerary of events and activities, and, of course, attentive ‘round-the-clock care.
The Beeches team is made up of some of the most experienced and compassionate nurses in the industry, providing a high ratio of direct patient oversight per resident per day. Our nurses and carers undergo specialised training and a highly selective hiring process to ensure that residents receive exacting, next-level care—especially for complex medical and nursing needs.
Many nursing homes are now built for the purposes of maximising numbers. Sadly, this means residents may go long hours without interactions. This often translates to insufficient care and an inability to truly bond with staff. The Beeches is a welcome antidote to this kind of facility. Our 38 room residence is a friendly, lively environment and an esteemed anchor of the West Sussex community. Our motto - “Our Home - You’re Home” reflects that the Beeches truly offers a homely environment for its residents. My brother and I would like to thank all the staff at The Beeches for the care and kindness they provided to our mother whilst she was in your care. This includes those patient staff members working behind the scenes.
We just want to thank you and express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding care Iris received at The Beeches Nursing Home. From day one of her arrival from the hospital, we have been consistently impressed by the dedication, compassion, and professionalism of your entire team, and we have felt part of a family when visiting. She thoroughly enjoyed all the activities, entertainment, and outings that you provided. They made a real difference in her everyday life, keeping her spirits high the majority of the time. Knowing that she was in such caring hands brings immense peace of mind to our family. It is evident that your staff genuinely cares for the resident, treating them with dignity and respect.
Heather and the team, thank you so much for making her last days so full of comfort and for making me feel so welcome on my visits, and for my phone call with her. It is and was much appreciated, and I have recommended you to people in Worthing.
Just a note to say thank you for looking after VJ so well, and thank you for your love and support.
Heather and the team, From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we had found the perfect home for mum to spend the final chapter of her life. We knew that she didn’t have much time left, but she spent six lovely weeks in your care, even joining in with the other residents in exercise classes, playing bingo and meals. We can’t praise all the Beeches staff enough. Nothing was too much trouble and you did everything you could to make mum as comfortable as possible. We would like to send our heartfelt thanks for everything you have done for her.
